Walkthrough 6: Eternal Corridor

Eternal Corridor is a long hall running straight east to Chapel Tower, with many enemies along the way. Underground Gallery and Underground Waterway cannot be reached yet.

Goals

• Head to Chapel Tower.

Key Points

• Getting grabbed by an Evil Hand slows you down.
• The breath of Gorgon petrifies on contact, so be careful.
• There are some strong enemies here, such as Flame Demon and Beast Demon; check the strategy on their detail pages.
• In the hidden room with a single Gorgon, you cannot dodge its petrifying breath if you stay at the entrance. Either throw a Crucifix as soon as you enter and take it down, or jump over it and attack from the left.

After defeating Adramelech (Iron maidens destroyed)

• The path down from the middle section leads to Underground Gallery. The Underground Gallery is not required to finish the game, but the Heavy Ring there opens many routes, so on a first playthrough go there in order.

• The enemies in two rooms of the western half are completely replaced: the Gorgon, Ectoplasm, Beast Demon and Were-bear become Franken, Witch and Killer Bee.
• Franken appears only here in the whole castle, and since you rarely pass through here late in the game, you may never even notice this enemy exists.

After defeating Camilla (Roc Wing obtained)

• The exit at the far end of Underground Waterway leads to the east end of this area.
